President of India to visit Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad for fourteen day southern sojourn
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will visit the Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad for a fourteen day southern sojourn from December 18 to 31, 2015. During his southern sojourn, he will attend the convocation of Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Secunderabad onDecember 19, 2015.
On December 22 & 23, 2015, the President will visit Karnataka where he will attend the 2nd convocation of Central University of Karnataka onDecember 22, 2015 at Gulbarga. On the same day, he will inaugurate the Magneto Encephalography Equipment and renovated heritage building of theNational Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences(NIMHANS), Bangalore. He will also dedicate NIMHANS to the nation as an Institute of national importance. OnDecember 23, 2015, the President will attend the 150th Anniversary of Bishop Cotton Boys School and lay the foundation stone of the State Cancer Institute at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore.
On December 25, 2015, the President will inaugurate the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Veda-Patasala at Ai Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.
On December 27, 2015, the President will deliver the inaugural address at the Indian Economic Associations Annual Conference at Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad. He will also attend on the same day the Purnahuthi of Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagam being organized by the Telangana State Government at Erravelli village in Medak, Telangana for Lok Kalyanam (universal prosperity) and Vishwa Shanthi (universal peace).
Shri ESL Narasimhan, Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will host a dinner in honour of the President on December 29, 2015. The President will host a reception for senior dignitaries of the State, Ministers, officials, journalists etc. at the Rashtrapati Nalayam, Secunderabad on December 30, 2015.
