Security Forces Deployed at NH-2 for Transportation of Essential Supplies in Manipur

Owing to continuous economic blockade in Manipur since November, 2016, the State Governments of Manipur and Nagaland had been requested to keep the NH-2 open for transportation of essential supplies in the Manipur. Accordingly, adequate security forces had been provided for unobstructed movement of essential commodities to the Manipur.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Shri Pon. Radhakrishnan in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
