Shri Kiren Rijiju begins two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh to review infrastructure projects

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju began a two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh today to review the roads and other infrastructure projects in the border state. Immediately upon his arrival at Bhalukpong, Shri Rijiju travelled by road to Tenga Valley in West Kameng district on a treacherous two-hour journey during which he made an on-the-spot assessment of the vitally strategic highway.

Shri Rijiju will hold a meeting to review the progress of the infrastructure development works at the District Commissioners Office at Bomdila in West Kameng district tomorrow. He will also inaugurate the Sector Headquarters of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at Bomdila.

Shri Rijiju will attend various public programmes at Bomdila and Pedung in West Kameng district before returning to New Delhi. Shri Rijiju is accompanied by Director General, SSB Smt. Archana Ramasundaram.
