Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Assumes Charge of MoS Minority Affairs

Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has assumed office as a Minister of State for Minority Affairs here today. Dr. Arvind Mayaram,the Secretary and other senior officers of the Ministry greeted the Minister. Interacting with media Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that security and prosperity are of utmost importance to the minorities. He will prefer working in close association with people to eliminate middlemen and ensuring that benefits of various schemes reach the desired target. He will strive to instill among minorities, the feeling of being participants and stakeholders in the process of development of the country by protecting them from falling prey to the feeling of alienation.
