The Sixth Meeting of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Ministers of Interior / Home, SAARC Secretaries of Interior / Home, and SAARC Immigration Authorities will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 17-19 September, 2014.
The meetings of Immigration Authorities will be held on September 17, 2014, the Secretaries of Interior / Home will be held on September 18, 2014 and the Ministers of Interior / Home will be held on September 19, 2014.
During the 3-day meet, issues like Suppression of Terrorism, Maritime Security and Piracy, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, combating corruption, cyber crimes, Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters, Trafficking in Women and Children and Promotion of Child Welfare in South Asia are likely to be discussed.
