Union Railway Minister Shri D V Sadanand Gauda has assured Union Tribal Affairs Minister Shri Jual Oram that Talcher-Bimalgarh and Barkot-Jharsuguda railway lines will be completed on priority basis.
The Union Tribal Affairs Minister had earlier requested the Railway Minister for early completion of these long awaited Railway lines. It may be recalled that the demand for Talcher-Bimalgarh Railway lines is more than half century old. Shri Oram had informed the Railway Minister that this line is not only important for Railway from passenger and commercial point of view but will also benefit the people of Sundergarh.
The Union Tribal Affairs Minister had received many memorandums from Shri Nitesh Gangdev MLA from Deoghar, senior BJP leaders from Odisha and several prominent citizens from Sundergarh for the construction of these railway lines.
