Two-day Regional Conference on Innovations in Citizen Centric Services Delivery begins in Jaipur tomorrow
The Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India is organising a 2-day Regional Conference on Innovations in Citizen Centric Services Delivery beginning tomorrow in Jaipur, in collaboration with Government of Rajasthan. 24 Regional Conferences have been held till date. The Conference at Jaipur is an effort to create a common platform to share experiences in the formulation and implementation of best practises in citizen centric governance, improved public service delivery through e-Governance, transparent, accountable and citizen-friendly effective administration. Delegates from 24 States/UTs of Northern, Southern, Western and Central regions will participate in the conference.
Shri C. Viswanath, Secretary, DARPG and Shri O. P. Meena, Chief Secretary Govt. of Rajasthan will inaugurate the two-day Conference. On the first day, 3 sessions will be held on: Bhamashah Yojana (Government of Rajasthan), Management of Land Records (Chandigarh Administration) and e-Lok Sewa Kendra (Government of Chhattisgarh). This will be followed by presentations on: CM Office Real- Time Executive (Core) Dash Board (Government of Andhra Pradesh), e-Innovations- an Iterative journey (Government of Karnataka), Disaster Management (Government of Tamil Nadu) and Consolidation of Departments- Taking Registration nearer to people, Transport wallet (Government of Telangana). In the third Session of the day, 3 more presentations shall be made on: Prerna: Learning Outcomes (Government of Himachal Pradesh), Sewa Kendras (Government of Punjab), CM Window: A Public Grievance Redressal System (Government of Haryana) and Sewa Setu and Chintan Shivir (Government of Gujarat).
The fourth session on December 22, 2016 will have 4 presentations: Public Services by Delhi Jal Board (Government of NCT of Delhi), Dial 100- emergency Response System (Government of Madhya Pradesh), Nirbhaya Homes of Mahila Samakhya" and Participatory Governance Case of Parambikulam Tiger Resort" (Government of Kerala) and Devbhoomi Public Service Centre (Government of Uttarakhand).
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh will address the Valedictory Session of the Conference.
