Vice President condoles the passing away of Shri A R Kidwai
The Vice President of India, Shri M. Hamid Ansari has condoled the passing away of former Governor, Shri A R Kidwai. In a message, he said that Shri Kidwai upheld the highest Gandhian values and served the Nation as a freedom fighter, an able administrator, a Member of the Parliament and an educationist.

I am deeply grieved to learn about the demise of Shri A R Kidwai, former Governor of Bihar, Haryana and West Bengal.
In a life dedicated to public service, Shri Kidwai upheld the highest Gandhian values and served the Nation as a freedom fighter, an able administrator, a Member of the Parliament and an educationist.
I convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved members of the family and join the Nation in praying for eternal peace for the departed soul."
