At least 15 suspected militants were killed Monday in airstrikes in Pakistan's North Waziristan region, raising the toll to 120 since Sunday when operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched, media reported.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the airstrikes were carried out in Mir Ali town and Shawal region where several insurgent compounds were destroyed, Dawn online reported.
Zarb-e-Azb operation was launched against foreign and local terrorists hiding in North Waziristan, a week after a brazen insurgent attack on Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.
