Former Pakistan president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf, who was arrested in Lal Masjid operation case, is adamant to stay back in the country to fight out all the criminal cases against him.
Sources in All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) informed that the party chief was in no mood to leave the country and wanted to go though the legal procedure to get himself free in all the pending criminal cases against him.
Even after getting bail from apex court in Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case, still has one pending case, and he wants to become a free man, the Nation reports.
While talking to his counsel and party leaders he made it clear that he would not run away and face the trial in all the pending cases.
According to the report, sources further informed that government was worried about the security threats to Musharraf and as he had refused to leave the country even after getting bail in the last pending case against him.
