The Trump Campaign has announced buying $25 million worth advertisement slots in key battleground states as part of its effort to swing the pendulum in its favour amidst reports that the race to the White House has been tightened.
Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, himself sent an email to his supporters on Thursday announcing a decision in this regard.
"With a clear path to victory, we just announced an aggressive $25 million final ad-buy in the 13 battleground states, where the chances of winning are the most. Tightening polls have even forced Hillary (Clinton) to make her first-ever ad-buy in Wisconsin," Trump said.
The Trump Campaign said it has strengthened its leads in six battleground states, including Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Maine, North Carolina and Nevada.
If this trend continues until the election day scheduled on November 8, they can bank on 266 electoral votes, it claimed.
Meanwhile, as per a new poll, Clinton is trailing Trump by just one point in Georgia, while in New Hampshire the two are tied with 42 per cent of the votes.
