A 62-year old Black male, initially identified as a Person of Interest' by the New York Police Department (NYPD) in the Brooklyn subway shooting, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the attack that left 23 people injured, including 10 who were hit when he fired at least 33 shots with a nine mm handgun.
Frank James was arrested by patrol officers in the East Village in New York City, three law enforcement officials tell CNN.
Patrol officers from the 9th Precinct downtown arrested him, they said.
