eBay's profits rose 13% in Q4

eBay has reported 13% revenue in its fourth-quarter earnings.

The earnings include revenue of 4.5 billion dollars and non-GAAP earnings per share of 0.81 dollars.

The online commerce site's revenue was up 13% from the same quarter last year, while its earnings per share rose 16%.

According to TechCrunch, eBay gained profit in its fourth quarter with a boost from PayPal, which saw revenue increase 19% again this quarter, as well as the full year, resulting in what the company says is a $6.6 billion in revenue in 2013.

In its most recent sequential quarter, eBay reported revenue of 3.9 billion dollars, and non-GAAP earnings per share of 0.64 dollars.
