One person has been arrested after a shooting at a high school in the town of Grasse, south-east France, authorities said on Thursday.
A 17-year-old armed with a rifle, a handgun, a revolver and two grenades entered the Alexis de Tocqueville school at about lunchtime and opened fire at the head teacher, CNN reported.
As many as eight people have been injured, including those with shock, a French Interior Ministry spokesman said, adding that the head teacher was among those hurt.
Earlier, a shooting at a high school in the southern French town of Grasse has left at least eight people injured.
