Donald Trump's administration has released a declassified four-page report that details United States intelligence on the chemical weapons attack in Syria, asserting that the Bashar al-Assad-led regime in the war-torn country and the Russian government have sought to confuse the world community about the assault through disinformation and “false narratives”. 

The report seeks to debunk Russian claims that the release of chemicals in the town of Khan Shaykhun, in southern Idlib Province, was the result of an airstrike on a terrorist ammunition depot by the Syrian government. 

The report bases its claims on signals and geospatial intelligence, along with laboratory
