Lamborghini launches Huracan Spyder at Rs 3.89 crore

Italian super car maker Lamborghini on Thursday launched the supercar Huracan Spyder at Rs 3.89 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch in India, which is done shortly after its global launch, coincided with the opening of its Mumbai showroom.

The Huracan Spyder is the convertible version of Lamborghini’s successful sportscar, Huracan. The car uses a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine that generates peak power of 610 bhp. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

The car uses a retractable hardtop instead of a softtop to provide better stability at high speeds and noise reduction.

The top can be retracted in 17 seconds when the car is stationary or on in motion with speed under 50 kmph.

The Spyder accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and boasts of a top speed of 324 kmph.
