Nine fishermen arrested by Sri Lankan Navy

Arrested for allegedly crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line

Nine fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy today for allegedly crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line.
 
They were later taken to Talaimanar Navy camp, fisheries department sources said.
 
The fishermen had put out to sea in two boats last night.
 
Yesterday, 15 fishermen had been arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on the same charges and their three boats seized.
