NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has warned that the truth about US-run snoop programme will emerge, and it cannot be stopped even if the authorities execute him.

According to The Guardian, Snowden is determined to expose all of US government's unconstitutional way of collecting 'metadata' about the citizens' web activities and telephone records under the garb of national security measure.

Snowden said that US will be unable to cover what it has done as the truth will come out even if the government decides to jail him or murder him.

Answering the questions about him being a potential Chinese spy, Snowden said that by calling him a traitor, the US government has destroyed any possibility of a fair trial.

According to the report, dismissing all the allegations against him about disclosing US secret intelligence to China, Snowden said that he had not revealed documents about US operations about legitimate military targets.

Snowden explained his reason for choosing Hong Kong for seeking asylum and said that it had been risky for him to leave the US, as NSA employees have to declare foreign travel 30 days in advance.

He added that Hong Kong provided him with a 'cultural and legal framework', which allows him to work without getting immediately detained.
