Ahmedabad based Hester Biosciences has posted a 3.84 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter of the current financial year to Rs 2.7 crore.
The company's net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 18.7 crore up around 60 per cent from Rs 11.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Hester's profit before tax for the third quarter stood at Rs 5.1 crore, up 50 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
The cumulative sales for the nine month period ending December 31, 2012, was Rs 48 crore as against Rs 34.8 crore in the year before period.
