Sony Corp. has reportedly cut its full-year profit outlook by 40% after its fiscal second quarter net loss.
Sony's net loss widened to 19.3 billion yen due to a loss in its movie business, AllThingsD reports.
According to the report, the Japanese electronics giant said that its net loss was 15.5 billion yen a year earlier and market analysts had projected a net profit of 12.08 billion yen for the quarter.
