Sri Lankan PM to begin his three-day India visit today

Ranil Wickremesinghe will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discuss issues of mutual interest.

Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will on Tuesday arrive in New Delhi for a three-day visit to India.

During his stay, he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discuss issues of mutual interest. The visiting dignitary will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari will also call on the visiting dignitary.

Wickremesinghe will address the opening plenary of the India Economic Summit on Thursday.
