Trump gets Covid-19: Here's what it meant for Boris Johnson and Bolsonaro

Donald Trump and his wife Melania have tested positive for Covid-19 and are now in quarantine, throwing the US 2020 election campaign into disarray. The American president’s infection with coronavirus follows those of the UK prime minister, Boris Johnson, and Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro. While Johnson was seriously ill and spent two weeks in hospital in April, Bolsonaro had a milder case of the disease in July. The Conversation asked two experts on British and Brazilian politics to assess what impact catching Covid-19 had on the two leaders.
