UK and European Union negotiators have finalized their historic post-Brexit trade agreement, according to officials with knowledge of the matter.
 
The accord will now go to Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for their formal approval, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The accord, which will complete Britain’s separation from the bloc, will avert the threat of an acrimonious breakup and lay the foundations for a new relationship with its biggest and nearest commercial partner. It will allow for tariff and quota-free trade in goods after Dec. 31, but that won’t
