The Supreme Court on Monday favoured scrapping of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) 2017 graduation-level examination. The case which involved leaked question papers ahead of the examination is under review and is likely to call for a fresh examination for all students who appeared for it. 

Around 190,000 students who appeared for the SCC examination between 17 and 22 February, this year, held a protest, seeking justice and clarification of the case. 

Calling it an unfair means, SC sought Central govt to take note on the issue, although no order has been passed so far.
