Consulting majors Accenture Strategy and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) emerged as top recruiters making 16 offers each in the first cluster of the summer internship placement process at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, which kicked off on Tuesday.
Like every year, IIM-A is conducting the summer internship placement process in a cohort-based manner, spread across at least four clusters.
As part of the first cluster, the firms that visited the campus comprised three cohorts including global strategy consulting, international investment banks and investment management firms, which included private equity and venture capital firms.

Macquarie Group was a first-time recruiter from IIM-A in the summer internship placement process.
Location-wise, Altisource-Ocwen offered multiple roles in investment research at domestic and international locations. In the financial services domain, Goldman Sachs made the highest number of offers at eight.
Recruitment in the remaining three clusters will be held on November 14, 17 and 19, respectively.
