Seminar at FMS

The south campus of the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, recently organised "Servekriti: the culture of service", a seminar on the importance of services in the Indian context. This was the first edition of what is proposed to be an annual event in the FMS calendar.

The aim of the two-day seminar was to debate contemporary service sector issues with business leaders, academicians and leading management thinkers.

The theme this year was "India repositioned: at your service", which was discussed in five sessions covering sectors such as financial services, BPO and information technology, healthcare, media and entertainment, and retailing.

Keeping the focus on the services sector, FMS has also launched a new management course "" MBA: management of services "" that aims to equip managers with sector-specific skills. This is also the first regular full-time MBA programme from FMS, south campus.
