The south campus of the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, recently organised "Servekriti: the culture of service", a seminar on the importance of services in the Indian context. This was the first edition of what is proposed to be an annual event in the FMS calendar. |
The aim of the two-day seminar was to debate contemporary service sector issues with business leaders, academicians and leading management thinkers. |
The theme this year was "India repositioned: at your service", which was discussed in five sessions covering sectors such as financial services, BPO and information technology, healthcare, media and entertainment, and retailing. |
Keeping the focus on the services sector, FMS has also launched a new management course "" MBA: management of services "" that aims to equip managers with sector-specific skills. This is also the first regular full-time MBA programme from FMS, south campus. |
