B-grads find Ambanis, HLL less charming

Guess who's lost favour among B-school graduates? The Ambani brothers and fast moving consumer goods major Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL).
 
As per the latest findings of the Brand-comm Annual B-school study, management students from 12 institutes across the country have rated HLL, which ranked at the top last year, the third most attractive company to work for. This is the fourth year that Brand-comm, a brand consulting, advertising and public relations firm, is carrying out the study.
 
Infosys Technologies, followed by the Tata group were the top two most attractive Indian companies to work for. And Infosys chief mentor Narayana Murthy continues to be the most admired business leader for the fourth year in a row, though Tata group chairman Ratan Tata scores high for his leadership qualities to fall in the second place.
 
Other noteworthy businessmen in the list include Wipro's Azim Premji at number three followed by the late Dhirubhai Ambani. Interestingly, Anil Ambani has scored more points over elder brother Mukesh Ambani, who is at number six.
 
The Tata group has garnered interest from many management graduates this year, with roughly 22 per cent of the sample size rating it as the most attractive company to work for. It has gained points based on two factors "" work environment and name/size of the company.
