IIM Ahmedabad will hold a programme on 'The winning edge: Communication strategies for leaders'. It aims to help participants review their communication skills and equip them with tools to meet a range of communication challenges as an organisation leader.
Players: Senior managers and administrators who head business units. Managers with at least 10 years of substantial experience in leadership positions.
Coach: Prof M M Monippally
Fee: Rs 40,000 (US$ 1100 for participants from other countries)
The programme will be held at the IIM-A campus from September 18-23.

 
IIM-C joins hands with NIIT
 
Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and NIIT, have entered into a strategic alliance to offer 'Executive Development Programmes' through virtual classrooms. IIM Calcutta will design these programmes, deliver them through its experienced faculty and conduct evaluation and certification, while NIIT will provide the technology and implement and manage the overall student experience. Through this alliance, IIM Calcutta will offer two programmes "� Programme on strategic management for senior executives and programme on applied finance for executives in finance functions.
 
Leadership skills
 
Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, will hold a four-day programme on 'Leadership skills for top management' at its campus. It will help participants develop an insight into assessing one's leadership competencies and bring about the required changes in the same to lead an organisation.
Players: CEOs and heads of major functions from medium to large public and private business.
Coach: Clive Rubery - London Business School
Fee: Rs 1,50,000 or the dollar-equivalent
The programme will be held at the ISB campus from September 11-15.
