Bedi, Sethi to coach managers

Sports celebrities are no longer restricted to products promotions, they are now emerging as 'gurus' for several corporate training courses.

After such an interaction with around 50 chief executive officers (CEO) and senior managers in New Delhi, such a programme, branded 'Reverse Flick', was held by the Noida-based Behind The Mood Consultants in Kolkata today.

"All the panelist have had troubles and bounced back. They are very strong individuals and good managers of their lives. We wanted to carry this forward to corporate platform too," said Giraj, director, Behind the Moon.

The Kolkata chapter saw a participation of 64 candidates, which was marginally more than the targeted 60, he added. 'Reverse Flick' will be organised in other cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad within next few months, informed Giraj.

Geet Sethi and Bishen Singh Bedi addressed managers here. The major area of focus include character building and concentration building, noted eminent billiard player Sethi.

"Given an offer, I would like to extend my experience to B Schools graduate students as they are the future of the society," explained Sethi at the programme.

Bedi said, "Concentration and dedication has been the key to success for us and that is what we are conveying to the corporate community in the city today."

The concept is yet to pick up pace and might see a larger audience in the next workshop to be held in Delhi this May, noted Giraj.
