 This collaboration involves weekly sessions by HLL managers who share their insights and practical perspectives. The collaboration is also aimed at adding value to FMS students by making them fully aware of the latest innovations in fields like brand management, rural marketing and alternate distribution channels.

 The course also includes traditional sales management, channel strategy, HLL retail opportunity, modern trade, rural marketing, end-to-end replenishment as well as important case studies.

 It is to be noted that several premier B-schools and companies like HLL are now adopting these new approaches to meet the challenges and uncertainties of a dynamic environment.

 Course in CRM

 Amity Centre for Customer Relationship Management, Noida, has designed a one-year course to blend the concepts of marketing and customer relationship management. The course is divided into four semesters, each semester spanning three months.

 The first two semesters cover the diverse fields of marketing and the third semester delves deeper into the concept of BPO, customer relationship management, IT enabled services, telemarketing, call centre management, retailing and direct marketing.

 The last semester includes a three-month internship in an organisation. The first batch started on July 14, 2003.

 IIFT signs MoU for capacity building

 Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi has entered into an MoU with Colombo Plan Secretariat for capacity building and technical assistance to Colombo Plan Countries.
