IIM-A moves up to 39th spot in The Economist MBA rankings

IIM-A is the only Indian B-school to get ranked in The Economist full-time MBA programmes ranking since the last four years

The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) moved up 17 places to be ranked at 39th position in the latest The Economist full-time MBA programmes ranking 2013. Continuing to be the only Indian B-school to be ranked in the The Economist full-time MBA programmes ranking, IIM-A ranked 56th globally in 2012.

Further, in the Asia and Australasia 2013 rankings by The Economist, IIM-A moved up one place from fifth position last year to fourth position in 2013.

The premier Indian B-school was also ranked number one in several criteria like student quality, open new career opportunities, percentage increase on pre-MBA salary, percentage in work three months after graduation and percentage who found jobs through the careers service globally in The Economist full-time MBA programmes ranking.
 
IIM-A is the only Indian B-school to get ranked in The Economist full-time MBA programmes ranking since the last four years. In 2011, the institute was ranked at 78th position globally among top 100 B-schools.
