IIM-Calcutta to host finance conference

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) will organise the International Finance Conference on Monday, January 10. The conference will be inaugurated by Pranab Mukherjee, Union finance minister. Also present at the event will be Ajit Balakrishnan, founder Rediff and IIM-C alumnus. The conference will focus on financial markets and corporate finance, during which will be discussed research and global practices in risk management, corporate investment and financing choices among other things. It will host about 150 participants from several countries including UK, Czech Republic, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Germany, Taiwan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and India. Four keynote speakers will address the conference participants.
