IIM-L achieves 100% placement

The batch comprising 436 students was made 440 offers by 207 recruiters, including 49 new recruiters

Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L) today claimed to have achieved 100% placement for its graduating batch of 2014.
 
The batch comprising 436 students was made 440 offers by 207 recruiters, including 49 new recruiters.
 
The offers included 92 Pre-Placement Offers (PPO), 132 lateral offers from higher entry placement process (HEPP) and 216 offers from final placements.
 
The number of PPOs this year was highest ever and increased by 28% compared to last year. 
 
The recruiting companies included Flipkart, Deloitte, IBM, Accenture, Cipla, ICICI bank, P&G, Amazon, Reliance Industries, Cognizant, McKinsey, HUL, HSBC, BCG, ABG and American Express.
 
 
The maximum roles offered came from sales and marketing segment, securing 24% of total offers, followed by consulting at 21%. Other segments comprised finance (18%) and systems/IT, general management and operations/supply chain at 10% each.
 
In spite of current economic situation, IIM-L attracted diverse roles in the finance domain. The rest of the offers came from domains such as market research, analytics, business development, social media marketing and HR among others.
