The Indian School of Business (ISB) is hosting the ISB Digital Summit at its Hyderabad campus from November 9 focusing on the current trends in digital media, recent innovations, new business models and find effective ways of leveraging the digital medium for both large and mid-size companies across verticals.
The two-day summit is being organised by the Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE), a multi-disciplinary research centre aimed at fostering rigorous and relevant ICT centric research, in association with Jigserv, a digital marketing company founded by an ISB alumnus.
Speakers at the summit are faculty from top global B-schools globally and experts from the industry from the technology domain including Rediff.com founder and CEO Ajit Balakrishnan, Google India managing director Rajan Anandan, IBM India vice-president (marketing) Virginia Sharma and Anindya Ghose of Stern School of Business.
The summit will ring together academics, business leaders, marketers and digital media industry practitioners to discuss on new paradigms in digital marketing and its impact on businesses.
Attendees can look forward to understanding the new trends in this domain and figure out effective ways of leveraging the digital medium for their businesses.
It will cover areas such as analytics in the new mobile economy, measurement of social capital (trust) through 'strength of ties' on social media, advertising strategies for online retailers, role of intermediaries in the digital media value chain, integrated tools for digital marketing, digital marketing measurement and metrics.
The ISB Digital Summit is in its second year now.
