Speaking to Business Standard on the sidelines of the Executive Recruiters Association (ERA) National Conference organised here, K Pandia Rajan, managing director, Ma Foi Management Consultants, said that the firm has set aside a capital expenditure of Rs 15 crore this year. |
"Within a month's time, we will be setting up academies in Andhra Pradesh in cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati. These will be based on the franchisee model and will provide training to incumbents for periods ranging from six weeks to three months," he added. In south, Ma Foi also plans to spread the reach of its academies to Tiruchirapalli and Madurai. |
"The academy provides various training programmes like CodeCraft for software programming, a call centre training programme called WordCraft besides others like RetailCraft, SalesCraft and TechCraft," Pandia Rajan said. |
Ma Foi, which is also into recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) through its subsidiary Ma Foi Outsourcing Solutions Limited, is planning to strengthen its capacity in this sector to a 500-seat centre. It started with a 200-seat centre in Chennai. "Besides, we also plan to migrate some of the work to Hyderabad soon," he added. |
At present, the RPO subsidiary provides recruitment services like CV formatting, processing and candidate management but not face-to-face interview sessions. The firm plans to enter this segment as well with the help of video-conferencing facility in the next four-five months, Pandia Rajan said. |
The company plans to end this year with a turnover of Rs 215 crore, 76 per cent up from the last year's turnover of Rs 122 crore. |
