Trust for Manjunath |
The IIM alumnus have formed a trust in the name of the whistleblower Manjunath Shanmugam, an IIM-Lucknow graduate who was murdered last November in Lakhimpur Khiri, Lucknow. |
The trust which aims to collect Rs 50 lakh, has so far collected Rs 20.5 lakh through donations. The IIM alumnus plan to build a corpus fund of 50 lakh and deposit the same to generate interest. |
The money would be used to fight Manjunath's case and also to help in similar cases. Manjunath's case will come up for hearing on June 5-7 at the Lakhimpur Khiri court in Lucknow. |
