Training and Advanced Studies in Management and Communications Ltd (TASMAC) on Wednesday announced the launch of the Association of Business Executives (ABE) programmes in India. The first batch is scheduled to commence on July 18.
 
The ABE programmes will be offered in three areas, business administration, business information systems and travel, tourism and hospitality. The programmes are offered in classroom and also through the distant learning education modules.
 
The ABE provides cost effective provision of British management education modified to focus on business and management education for students in South Asia.
 
Through the ABE route, students can complete a BA(Hons) in business administration from the University of Wales, UK in India at TASMAC campuses in Bangalore, Pune and Kolkata, at approximately one-tenth of the cost of going to the UK. These students will receive the same degree as that received by students in the University of Wales.
 
"The examination structure is flexible and has no time limit and allows the student to complete the programme in a timescale suitable to them . Also, while studying for their bachelors degree in an Indian university, students can gain an international qualification from selected universities in UK, USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand," said Giri Dua, managing director, TASMAC.
