"With unprecedented growth in the premium vodka category, Romanov Red is likely to capture 15-20 per cent share of the vodka market," said Debashish Shyam, assistant vice-president (marketing), United Spirits.
The company has roped in actor Shilpa Shetty for endorsing the brand. Romanov Red is said to be the only multi-grain and multi-distilled vodka brand offered at a competitive price of Rs 270-300 per bottle.
The premium vodka segment is the fastest growing one in India with annual growth of over 80 per cent selling around eight lakh cases per annum. The total market for vodka in the country is around 4.5 million cases.
