US-based Mercy College is planning to start its one-year MBA programme in India from the next academic session. |
The college will offer its MBA courses through its India campus in Mumbai. The college has tied up with Morningside School of Management to offer a 12-week (18 credits) of the executive-style first year curriculum in the Indian campus. |
With successful completion of the 12 week of study in India, the students will be granted advanced placement in Mercy's MBA programme in US to complete the course over a period of nine months (36 credits). |
"The objective of introducing the course in India is firstly to create an uncompromisingly rigorous and respected business curriculum, providing the student an edge over the competition in the current and future job market and secondly, to allow the student to attain the MBA degree in the most flexible and cost efficient manner possible," said Joshua Eisen, president, Morningside School of Management. |
