Vachani was here in Kolkata for the launch of its flat CTV ranges. He said he is optimistic that the Weston brand could once again be in the big league. |
The company is now offering 16 products in CTV. Vachani claimed that Weston has launched the cheapest flat TV in the country with a price tag of Rs 6,990. "Such a cheap price will revolutionise the market ," he added. |
Senior vice president (marketing) of Weston, Sunil Sethi informed that the company is eyeing a 35 per cent growth in CTV sales this year. Dixon has achieved Rs 70 crore turnover for Weston brand in 2004-05. It is hoping to cross Rs 100 crore mark in the current fiscal. |
According to Sethi, Dixon had posted a turnover of Rs 450 crore in 2004-05. The majority of the turnover was from OEM division mopping up Rs 350 crore. "But now this is going to change," he added. |
