10% Creeping Acquisition Limit Extended To Sept 30

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has extended the 10 per cent creeping acquisition limit for another six months till September 30, 2002.

On October 10, 2001, Sebi had increased the creeping acquisition limit from 5 per cent to 10 per cent, but this relaxation was valid only up to March 31, 2002. Sebi had then said that that at the end of this period it would be reviewed
