<b>19K in sight: </b>Sensex up 512pts

The Sensex is now up 512 points at 18,931.

Reliance Energy has zoomed nearly 9% to Rs 1,781. ONGC has soared 7% to Rs 1,169.

Tata Steel has surged 6.4% to Rs 903. Maruti and Hindalco have rallied 5.3% each to Rs 1,156 and Rs 188, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel and NTPC have advanced around 4.5% each to Rs 1,498, Rs 750, Rs 1,117 and Rs 227, respectively.

BHEL, HDFC and SBI have gained around 3.5% each at Rs 2,424, Rs 2,558 and Rs 1,925, respectively.

ACC and ICICI Bank have advanced 3% each to Rs 1,288 and Rs 1,084, respectively. Reliance has added 2.6% to Rs 2,634.

Hindustan Unilever has slipped over 1% to Rs 219.

Out of 2,787 stocks traded so far, 1,946 have advanced, 779 have declined and 62 are unchanged.
