2 Gainers In A Falling Market

Most textile stocks have been seeing downward movement in the last three months. Some exceptions like Siyaram Silk and Vardhman Spinnings have seen positive movement.

Siyaram Silk has gone up by 1.79 per cent from the beginning of January to end the day today at Rs 35.75 while Vardhaman Spinnings, up by 0.69 per cent, ended the day at Rs 50.65 as against its close of Rs 50.30 from the beginning of January.

Most other scrips have seen a downward movement in the last three months. Alok Industries, down by 13.33 , ended the day at Rs 11.05 today as against Rs 12.75 at the beginning of January.

 

BSL which ended the day today at Rs 22.15, is down by 32.15 per cent from its close of Rs 32.65 from January 1. Deepak Spinners which ended the day at Rs 9, is down by 11.11 per cent from its close of Rs 9.40 from the beginning of January.

Jaipur Polyspin which is down by 5.26 per cent, has ended the day today at Rs 3.60 as against its close of 3.80 from the beginning of January while Raymond which ended the day today at Rs 93, is down by 8.82 per cent from its close of Rs 102 at the beginning of January.

Rajasthan Spinnings which is marginally down at 0.29 per cent, ended the day at Rs 17 against its close of Rs 17.05 at the beginning of January while Sangam (I) which ended the day today at Rs 11.05, is down by 39.94 per cent from its close of Rs 18.40 at the beginning of January.

Garden Silk which ended the day at Rs 25.75, is down by 16.93 per cent from its close of Rs 31 at the beginning of January.
