4 firms to bid for food park

The Adityapur Industrial Area Development Authority (AIADA) has shortlisted four New Delhi-based firms "� Global Agri System, Prime Heritaro Project, Consultage Engineering Service India and Mariental India Private Limited "� for setting up a food park.

This would be the first food park in Jharkhand. The firms will make presentations of their proposals on December 13. The presentations would recommend the layout and indicate capacities the food park could handle.

The consultants will submit a declaration along with a detailer project report (DPR), market survey and details of design and engineering, procurement, tendering etc.

A 50-acre plot has been set aside for the park. The final location would be selected by the consultant along with infrastructure required for the food processing units. A food park for vegetables and another for fruits were under study.
