5 richest see Rs 67k crore net worth dip

The stock market today halted its three-day meltdown, but a number of blue-chips led by the country's five richest people continued their downslide and eroded close to Rs 11,000 crore of wealth from their kitty.

The net worth of the five richest "" Mukesh and Anil Ambani, K P Singh, Sunil Mittal and Azim Premji "" today plunged by Rs 11,015 crore, taking their total loss to about Rs 67,200 crore since October 17.

The companies, where the five corporate tycoons have promoter holdings, collectively lost about Rs 1,25,000 crore in the past four trading sessions.
