8K Miles Software surges over 30% in three days on mutual fund buying

Since August 8, the stock appreciated more than 100% from Rs 199 to Rs 430 today.

8K Miles Software Services was locked in upper circuit for second straight day, up 10% at Rs 430, also its record high on National Stock Exchange (NSE).

At 1050 hours, a combined 246,000 shares already changed hands and there are pending buy orders for 32,344 shares on NSE and BSE.

Shares of internet software and services provider has rallied 31% in past three trading sessions from Rs 327 on September 16, after Sundaram BNP Paribas Mutual Fund bought nearly 2% stake in the company through open market transactions.

On Wednesday, September 17, Sundaram BNP Paribas Mutual Fund bought 175,000 shares representing 1.74% stake in 8K Miles Software Services at Rs 331.95 per share, bulk deal data on the BSE showed.

Since August 8, the stock appreciated more than 100% from Rs 199, after DSP Blackrock bought 303,529 shares representing 3% of total equity of 8K Miles Software Services at Rs 175 per share from open market. The name of the sellers not ascertained.
