Aarti Ind gains on nod to re-start Vapi unit

GPCB has revoked the earlier order banning production at Vapi units

Shares of Aarti Industries were up 4% at Rs 100 after the company said that the Gujarat Pollution Control Board has allowed to re-start manufacturing activities at Vapi plant.

Gujarat Pollution Control Board vide its order dated January 13, 2014 has revoked the earlier order to close its manufacturing facilities at Vapi viz Alchemie Organic Division and Aarti Fertiliser Division since January 1, 2014, the company said in a release.

Following the order, the commercial operation/production in the Company's division viz Alchemie Organic Division and Aarti Fertiliser Division has commenced from January 14, 2014, Aarti Industries said in a release after market hours on Tuesday.
