<b>Above 19K:</b> Sensex up 471pts; ONGC soars 5%

The Sensex is now up 471 points at 19,187.

Reliance Communications has zoomed 7.7% to Rs 794. ONGC has soared nearly 5% to Rs 1,185.

TCS and Reliance Energy have surged over 4% each to Rs 1,142 and Rs 1,832, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Cipla, Tata Steel and HDFC have rallied 3.7% each to Rs 436, Rs 186, Rs 901 and Rs 2,560, respectively.

NTPC and Hindalco have advanced around 3.5% each to Rs 228 and Rs 205, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Reliance have gained 3% each at Rs 3,395 and Rs 2,773, respectively.

Infosys has moved up 2.8% to Rs 1,942. Dr.Reddy's and BHEL have added 2.5% each to Rs 622 and Rs 2,342, respectively.

ICICI Bank has slipped 1.8% to Rs 1,097, and Bharti Airtel has declined 1.5% to Rs 1,088.

Out of 2,645 stocks traded so far, 2,026 have advanced, 562 have declined and 57 are unchanged.
