<b>Above 20K:</b> Sensex pares gains, up 84pts

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 125 points at 20,103, and soon soared to a fresh all-time intra-day high of 20,238.

The index has pared gains and is now up 84 points at 20,062.

BHEL has soared 3.8% to Rs 2,711.

Larsen & Toubro and Dr.Reddy's have rallied around 2% each to Rs 4,370 and Rs 618, respectively.

HDFC, ONGC and Wipro are the other prominent gainers.

Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 2% to Rs 780.
