<b>Above 20K:</b> Sensex up 66pts; BHEL surges 4%

The Sensex is now up 66 points at 20,044.

Reliance Energy has soared over 4% to Rs 1,796. BHEL has surged 4% to Rs 2,716.

ICICI Bank has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 1,285. Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Toubro have surged 2.5% each to Rs 1,020 and Rs 4,384, respectively.

NTPC and HDFC Bank have moved up over 1.5% each to Rs 237 and Rs 1,663, respectively.

Maruti has plunged 6.8% to Rs 1,108, and Mahindra & Mahindra has tumbled 5.5% to Rs 753. Tata Motors has slipped over 2% to Rs 790.

Cipla and TCS are down over 1% each at Rs 182 and Rs 1,055, respectively.

Out of 2,758 stocks traded so far, 1,437 have declined, 1,267 have advanced and 54 are unchanged.
